1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Tutt Travel mobile application, website, and related support services. By using Tutt Travel, you acknowledge the practices described here.
2. Information you provide
- Account and profile information: such as your email address, name, profile preferences, and authentication identifiers.
- Trip information: including destinations, dates, itinerary events, notes, locations, logistics, reservations, packing lists, clothing, outfits, and preferences.
- Files and media: documents, receipts, tickets, wallet items, photos, memories, and other content you choose to upload or attach.
- Sharing and safety information: trip-member details, friend connections, invitations, emergency contacts, and permissions you configure.
- Support communications: messages, screenshots, and other information you send when requesting assistance.
3. Information processed automatically
We may process device and application information needed to operate, secure, synchronize, and diagnose the service. This can include device type, operating-system information, app version, network and synchronization status, error information, notification tokens, timestamps, and service logs. Tutt Travel does not need your device’s continuous location to provide its core planning features.
4. How we use information
- Provide accounts, trip planning, sharing, offline access, synchronization, and file features.
- Authenticate users and protect accounts and sensitive travel information.
- Process actions you request and keep shared trips consistent among authorized members.
- Troubleshoot problems, respond to support requests, and improve reliability.
- Comply with law, enforce our terms, prevent abuse, and protect users and the service.
5. Sharing of information
Information may be visible to people you invite to a trip according to the permissions and roles assigned within that trip. We also use service providers, including Firebase and related Google Cloud services, to provide authentication, database, file storage, synchronization, hosting, and backend operations. These providers process information on our behalf under their applicable terms and safeguards.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, and the integrity of the service.
6. Local and offline data
Tutt Travel may store trip data and downloaded files locally on your device to support offline access and faster loading. Local copies can remain until removed by the app, account-deletion process, operating system, or user. Removing the app may remove local data but does not necessarily delete synchronized cloud data.
7. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security and shared-trip integrity, resolve disputes, satisfy legal obligations, and enforce agreements. Retention can vary by data type. Backup or security records may persist for a limited period after deletion from active systems.
8. Your choices and account deletion
You may update available profile and trip information in the app and manage trip-sharing permissions where permitted by your role. You can initiate account-deletion steps through Settings or contact support@tutttravel.com. We may require identity verification.
Deletion of shared content requires special handling because other travelers may have rights or continuing access to a shared trip. Depending on ownership, permissions, security needs, and legal requirements, shared records may be deleted, transferred, anonymized, detached, or retained.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your account credentials and use caution when uploading sensitive travel documents or sharing trips.
10. Children’s privacy
Tutt Travel is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
11. International processing
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. We use service providers and safeguards intended to protect information consistent with this policy.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Tutt Travel changes. We will post the revised policy here and update its effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or through another appropriate channel.
